Our ASIC history started with the IPSTAR modem. Now our expertise in complex high-speed communication ASICs has resulted in the industry’s first adaptive coding and modulation (ACM ) capable DVB-S2 ASIC. We attribute our first pass silicon successes to our stringent methodology and robust design flow.
SkyPHY (DVB-S2 Receiver ASIC) 
SkyPHY receiver ASIC leverages the power and bandwidth efficiencies of DVB-S2 standard. SkyPHY is one of the first DVB-S2 ASIC on the market with the ACM (Adaptive Coding and Modulation) feature to create a premier product for next generation satellite communication systems.
Evaluation Boards
ECC offers evaluation boards for its products that may be used to perform comprehensive evaluation of ECC products.
SPICA (IPSTAR ASIC)
SPICA is a modem ASIC designed for the IPSTAR satellite ground system. It uses adaptive modulation and turbo coding with over 40 combinations of waveforms that can change “on-the-fly”. The 208 pin PQFP device features more than a million gates in complexity.
